  1. Library Online Got data?

  2. Library Main Page Click on Library from the main APPNET Page. Notice the top right choices under “Start Here For Research”

  3. Choose Databases • Upper left of page click on Databases & Articles • Note: Whatever you click on you may be asked to login (especially if you’ve never been there before). Your login is your name and your student ID or SS

  4. The Databases Main Page • This brings up the Databases main page. Notice the “by subject” dropdown on the upper right

  5. Choose a Category • Scroll to and click on the subject area. Advertising, marketing are good starters.

  6. Resources To Choose From • Here are some of the choices.

  7. One Choice: MRC • In this example click on Market Research.com Academic

  8. MRC Main Page & Selection Categories This is the main MRC landing page and a list of data categories

  9. If you are looking for a type of buying….. • This selection can bring up things like home and yard purchases, etc.

  10. MRC Main Option #2 • In the Upper Left of the MRC main page you can also look for data via a quick search.

  11. Marketing Best Bets If you had chosen marketing instead of advertising you would choose from this list

  12. Broader Search:See Bottom of Library Main Page This is the result of searching for Mediamark, a great source of consumer & company data

  13. Mediamark Subject Guide Page Clicking on Company Directories brings up list of sources. Clicking on Lexis/Nexis Academic brings up the following …

  14. Search Window In this window you can access info in various ways …notice Ford search in Name window – bottom right

  15. Search results for Ford Here’s just part of a long list of Ford docs. The next slide shows the kind of info you can find.
