  2. The tropical rainforest is a forest of tall trees in a region of year-round warmth. Average of 50 to 200 inches.(125 to 660cm.)of rain falls yearly. Also, the tropical rain forest is a very environment, as you hear from the name that contains “rain”. The total rainfall for the year is between 1500 and 2500mm.

  3. The tropical rainforest is located near the equator. Fifty seven percent of all tropical rainforest are found in Latin America .one third of the world’s tropical rainforests are in brazil. Other tropical rainforests are located in southeast Asia and, the pacific islands(25% of the world’s tropical rainforests.) and west Africa 18%.

  4. The tropical rainforests weather is hot but sometimes cold. And there are 2 seasons, the first one is, dry season and, the second on is, wet season. Also in an average year in the tropical rainforest, the climate is very humid because of all the rainfall, which amounts about 250cm per year.

  5. In the tropical rainforest there are many types of plants such as trees, air plants, Brome lands, avocado, banana, coffee, lemon, oranges, peanuts, peppers, and pineapples. And some of the animals are frogs, birds, butterflies, worms, sloths, mammals, and toucans.

  6. The greatest cause of tropical rainforest destruction today comes from human activities, which, unlike natural damage are unrelenting. Although most of this driven by national and international economic forces, a significant proportion serves no long-term purpose.

  7. The tropical rainforest is located in the tropics by the equator. It covers 2% of earth’s surface, but house over half of world’s plant and animal species; one fourth of medicines originated in tropical rainforest.
