On the next slide I have gone a little farther back just to show some more language diversity. *Warren George Thompson served in the Navy during World War II. He boarded German ships and brought home two Nazi flags.

One interesting fact that a cousin knew though was that we had a distant relative on the Mayflower. He was a servant and was listed as Edward Lister. We do know that the Manore family was French, but do not know when they came to America. However a great deal is known about both the Purdy and Chapman sides of my family. The following slide provides much more information.

They entered in through New York, but records do not show if it was Ellis Island or not. *Riley Virgil Chapman served in World War I. He served in England, France and Germany.

I have a Purdy ancestor buried in Gettysburg, he was sent in place of his father. *On the Lofft side I am related to author Marguerite de Angeli.   10. This is just Lincolnshire County. I have circled Holbeach, and the area where Sutton St. James is located as this is where so many of my relatives are from.

  12. Marie Maxine Lucius Born in Flint, Michigan 24 February 1980 I lived in Mt. Morris, Michigan for 28 years. I moved to Adrian, Michigan 2 years ago. I recently married Jason Alan Lucius who was born in Saginaw, Michigan and moved to Adrian 4 years ago. I speak English. In high school I took 2 years of Spanish. I am the oldest of four children, I have two sisters and one brother.
