Soledad Cross at San Diego Veterans Memorial in La Jolla.” • Federal judge declares cross in violation of the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause of the Constitution. 1954 Order states that the cross must be moved within 90 days, but an appeal on ruling could delay it

Probation Sentence in Texas Teenager’s Fatal DWI Wreck Sparks Outrage.” • 16-year old used “Affluenza” defense; he was too rich, spoiled, and immature to know consequences. Affluence = Wealth Ethan Couch’s 20 year prison sentence reduced to 10 years probation for killing 4 pedestrians

Current Event #4 • 4. “FDA tells Makers of Antibacterial Soaps to Prove that they are Better, Safer and Effective.” • No evidence that antibacterial products prevent the spread of germs and may have some health risks. Manufacturers have one year to prove it; it only applies to products (hand soaps & body washes) That are used with water, Not hand sanitizers, wipes or antibacterial soaps used in hospitals.
