This guide covers safety rules and daily procedures for students at school, including uniform policy, hallway conduct, cafeteria guidelines, and dismissal procedures to ensure a secure learning environment.

Safety Rules • Do not open any school door that is locked to any stranger. • Do not leave campus for any reason • Wear your school uniforms every day to help us know you belong to our campus. • Say NO TO STRANGERS. • Listen to your teacher when lockdown in place.

Morning Procedures • Students that arrive to school before 7:30am will wait in the front entrance of the school. • After 7:30am, all students and parents must wait in the cafeteria until 8:00am to be dismissed to the rooms. • All students will be escorted to their grade level by a staff member.
Hallway Procedures • Students must walk quietly in a straight line on the RIGHT SIDE of the hall. • Students must keep hands and feet to self. • Student may not touch any of the projects displayed outside the classrooms.
Restroom Procedures • Students must use the restroom in their assigned area. • Students must use restroom quickly and wash their hands. • Throw all paper in appropriate area. DO NOT WASTE TIME!!!
Cafeteria Procedures • Students must wait quietly in line until their ID card is issued to them or until their line is called to the serving area. • Walk in the middle of the two red lines towards the serving area. • Students must get a milk, entrée, and fruit/vegetable. MAKE SURE TO GET ALL YOUR FOOD BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO RETURN TO THE SERVING LINE ONCE YOU LEAVE THE LINE!
Cafeteria Procedures • Give the card to Mr. Cantu or input your 5 Digit Number in the machine. • Walk to your assigned area and sit boy-girl order. • Do not stand up from your seat without permission. • Keep your voices down while you eat.
Dismissal Procedures • All bus students will be picked up by assigned personnel at 4:05pm. • Walkers and pick up must be escorted by a teacher at 4:10 p.m. ALL the way to front doors. • We are all responsible for SAFETY until the end of the day.
Bus Area • Students will be picked up by assigned personnel by 4:05pm. • Students will walk in a straight line to the gym and sit in their assigned area. • Students must keep voices down and keep hands and feet to self. • When your bus is called, line up and walk to your bus.
Front Entrance • When the bell rings at 4:10pm, all walkers and pick-ups will be escorted by a teacher to the front entrance of the school. • Walkers must use the exits located on the south and east side of the school. • Pick up students must sit in their assigned area and wait attentively until their name is called. • Once your name is called, make your way to the center lane and wait until staff member directing traffic gives you the signal to proceed to your vehicle.
Pre-Kinder / Kinder Wing • Once the bell rings, siblings must enter the classroom of the brother/sister and wait for their name to be called on the speaker. • When their name is called, they must walk outside on the sidewalk and wait at the end of the rail with the paraprofessional. • The paraprofessional will escort the student to the vehicle.
Project Care • If you are in Project Care, at 4:10pm walk to the music room. • Your parents will pick you up in this room.
