  1. Classroom Rules and Procedures The following discipline procedures will be used in class!

  2. Classroom Rules • 1. Bring all required materials and supplies to class each day. • 2. Be in your seat, quiet, and ready to work when the class starts. • 3. Follow directions the first time they are given. • 4. Raise your hand before speaking. • 5. Remain in your seat unless given permission to get up.

  3. Disciplinary Procedures • 1st offence- Warning • 2nd offence- Parent Notification • 3rd offence- Referral • This procedure may be altered according to the severity of the offence!!!!

  4. Classroom Procedures

  5. Being Prepared Bring required materials each day. ( notebook, pen, pencil, colored pencils or markers, scissors) Writing Utensils Students may use a pencil or a pen (blue or black ink) Blue or black ink should be used for formal writing assignments. Typed or computer generated work will be accepted Being Prepared andWriting Utensils

  6. Entering Class After entering the room, students may not leave without permission. Students may not leave books and materials outside the classroom for any reason Upon entering, students should go to their assigned seats and prepare for class Exiting Class The teacher will dismiss the class Do not pack books to exit class until instructed to do so by the teacher Students are responsible for cleaning the area around their desks before leaving the room.   7. Supplies for Spanish class • 1 composition notebook • Colored pencils or markers • Pens and pencils • 2 glue sticks • 1 scotch tape • 1 small pair of scissors • 2 boxes of tissues

  8. Your Composition Notebook Keep the following in your notebook: Class rules, class procedures, class notes, vocabulary assignments, tests, flash cards, etc.. All materials must be dated and in the right order. Notebooks will be checked every nine weeks. This grade will count as a test grade. Maintaining Your Notes

  9. Restroom Students should use the restroom before class. After entering the classroom, students will not be allowed to leave unless it is an extreme Emergency. Water Students should get water before class. Bottle water will only be allowed in the classroom Restroom and Water

  10. Pencil Sharpening Students are to sharpen pencils upon entering the classroom Trash Pick up all paper around your desk before leaving the room. Pencil Sharpening and Trash

  11. Grading Plan Course work will be weighted as follows: 30%Participation (oral and pair activities, listening and reading comprehension) 30%Projects 15% Homework 10% Quizzes 15% Tests
