What if… The Daily News 20 April 2015 Now into the start of its third term, the National Government has announced a major funding boost to WhānauOra services. “The value of these services, for whānau and all New Zealanders, is very clear”, the Prime Minister said. “Not only have they helped thousands of people to place themselves on a secure, healthy pathway – they also return a dividend in terms of reduced demand for other taxpayer-funded services…

Or, instead what if… The Daily News 20 April 2015 Now into the start of its third term, the National Government has moved swiftly to drop all funding for WhānauOra services. “The value of these services had become highly questionable”, the Prime Minister said. “WhānauOra was a nice idea, but it was very expensive and I am sure most New Zealanders would want us to show that they were getting value for their taxpayer dollars…
