  2. Target Group • Children and young people with Cerebral Palsy between 12 and 25 years old, with no recreational responses during the school holidays. • Each child will be monitored by a monitor permanently. ELPIDA Project

  3. General Objectives • This project aims at meet the needs of families with disable children and youngsters, providing time for parents or guardians to meet their own needs, as well as their welfare and quality of life ,which will have a positive impact on the children and youngsters covered by the project. ELPIDA Project

Community objectives · Reduce stress levels and weariness of the caregiver; · Promote families healthy habits. · Raise population awareness and facilitate the common understanding of the disability problem , promoting the defense of dignity, rights and well-being of disabled people ELPIDA Project

  5. Community objectives • Create an inclusive vacation response, in order to provide a set of activities adapted to the development of children and youngsters with disabilities, as well as an alternative for their caregivers, in order to minimize, for a period of time, their weariness and stress. • This service aims to help solving population’s community needs and strengthening the inclusion of people with disabilities, with impact on the target population as well as on their families. Vision and Mission • Service in the scope of care and leisure activities to children or youngsters with disabilities, focusing on their needs, contributing to improve their well-being and increasing their families' quality of life • To support the population in the reconciliation of family and professional life, promoting the well-being of the community through the development of socially innovative and sustainable quality projects.. Activities • Leisure, care and protection activities - specialized holiday service to be carried out in the accessible facilities of a basic school in the Parish Council of Olivais, according to family needs. • Running for two weeks per year (first fortnight of June and first half of September). • Price: 50 euros / week with special support to deprived families.
