Session Overview This session is the culminating session for the 3rd Annual CIMA meeting. • This session will be a collaborative discussion and analysis of best practice, challenges and resources when moving data and analytics into the hands of change agents on campus. • Culminating session to reflect on the past two days of discussions and interactions.

  3. Meeting Topics/Themes • Ethical Use of Data & Analytics • Implicit Bias • Institutional Culture • College Affordability • Operational Efficiency • Data Visualization & Literacy • Data Governance • Data & Compliance Issues

  4. Critical Question #1 How do data/analytics fuel institutional transformation, decision-making, and effectiveness (institutional structure, leadership, fiscal effectiveness, etc.)? • SESSIONS 1, 2, 4, 5, & 6

  5. Critical Question #2 How are institutions addressing the ethical issues when using data/analytics for action? • SESSIONS 3 & 6

  6. Critical Question #3 How are institutions using data/analytics to increase undergraduate and graduate student success (retention, graduation, learning outcomes achievement)? • SESSIONS 1, 2, 4, & 6

  7. Critical Question #4 How are institutions using data/analytics to inform the development of institutional metrics and benchmarks (Key Performance Indicators)? • SESSIONS 2, 4, 5, & 6

  8. Format: Gallery Walk Step 1: Brainstorm Session (3x5 Sticky Notes) • In pairs within your group • Questions, Comments and Challenges on each of the 4 Big Critical Questions Creating the Gallery: 40 Minutes
