  10. Enhanced Lifeline Requirements An Advice Letter to request to offer Enhanced Lifeline is required. • Advice Letter needs to be served on all California Tribal authorities. • Engagement efforts include but not limited to the following: • In person discussion and presentation of company’s Tribal lifeline plan. • Engage Tribal residents through appropriate media, enrollment assistance and direct mail. • Comply with Tribal business and licensing requirements, procedures, fees and authorizations. • Onsite testing of network coverage. • Include a signed letter from each of the relevant Tribes as to their position on the company’s request. • Provide contact list of the affected Tribal governments or authorities and demonstrate the applicant did reach out to the affected Tribal governments. • Each tribal government or authority would be included on the Advice Letter Service list so that each tribe can provide comments on the request. • Shapefiles showing coverage of territories. • Plans proposed are comparable to other plans offered (Approved Tribal plans include at minimal unlimited talk and text with 2.5 GB free).

  13. Next Steps • Continue to work with selected carriers to discuss outreach/education strategies to participants. • Encourage wireless LifeLine providers to participate in Federal Enhanced Lifeline program.
