In my Fall 2011 artist portfolio, I explore various mediums and express my passions, including sports like softball, tennis, and track. I'm inspired by my family visits to Ohio, which enrich my creativity. Creating prints was a highlight for me, especially the Batiks that featured endangered species. Influenced by Salvador Dali, whose work captivates me, I reflect on his eccentricities and masterpieces like "Persistence of Memory." My portfolio showcases my journey through printmaking, still-life, and personal expression.

Artist Statement I enjoy playing softball, tennis, and running track. I love to go up to Ohio and visit my family . My second favorite project was making prints because I loved expressing myself through my art. I liked the Batiks because I enjoyed drawing a picture of an Endangered species.
An Artist That Inspires Me Salvador Dali Date of birth: May 11, 1904 Date of death: January 23, 1989 “Persistence of Memory” is his most famous painting, he got his inspiration from watching cheese melt. Salvador had a great phobia of crickets. He was very arrogant and he would tie his art work to himself so it wouldn’t get stolen. Also he made people taste his food for him before he ate it himself because he thought someone was always trying to poison him. Persistence of memory
