Litter less lunch Wednesday In the fall we started litter less lunch Wednesday. Every Wednesday we have reusable containers for our lunches, instead of plastic bags.
Lights Out Lunch We started Lights out lunch in the fall. At lunch everybody eats lunch in the dark.
Garbology A couple weeks ago we did Garbology. we took all the garbage cans in the school and dumbed it on a tarp. Then we sorted it all out into true Garbage, compost and, recycling. We reduced our garbage by 70%.
Daffodils In the fall we planted daffodils in the front of the school. They are starting to sprout now.
Garden We built a garden and we are going to give some of the vegetables to Ruth and Naomi.
Composting A couple of weeks ago, we got a composting bin. Now we are composting our banana peels, orange peels and paper towel.
Educating the school We educated the school when we did Garbology, and told them that all of the stuff on the tarp was in the garbage can!
Water Bottle Weekdays We are encouraging the students to bring their reusable water bottles.
