  2. Birth • Aaron Copland was born November 14 • He was born in New York • The first time he heard music it changed his life .

  3. Childhood • His parents never listened to music, but he would hear it from the streets. • The first time he saw a performance, he wondered about who made up the music.

  4. Music Career • When Aaron Copland first saw a music composer in action, he immediately wanted to be one • Throughout his life he became a composer. • His most famous songs were, ‘Appalachian Spring’ and ‘Billy the Kid’

  5. Performance • When Aaron Copland composed his music, he thought of people’s feelings and tried to put them into a song • He just wanted to have fun

  6. Education • When Aaron was young, he fell in love with music. The first time he heard it, he went crazy for music. • He went to Queens college and took music and Aced it.

  7. Death • December 2, 1990 was a sad day for the American public. Aaron Copland died. • His musical genius is still remembered today.
