To be considered trained, Cub Scout leaders must complete New Leader Essentials and Cub Scout Leader Specific Training for their role. Scoutmasters and assistant Scoutmasters need to finish New Leader Essentials, Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific Training, and Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills. Ongoing training consists of Roundtables, Self-Paced, and Web-based options. Remember that well-trained leaders enhance the scouting experience for everyone.   3. Cub Scout leaders are considered trained when they have completed New Leader Essentials and the Cub Scout Leader Specific Training for their position.

  4. Scoutmasters and assistant Scoutmasters are considered trained when they have completed New Leader Essentials, Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific Training, and Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills.

  5. Basic Pack Training • Fast Track • Youth Protection • New Leader Essentials • Specific Leader Position Training

  6. Training will be on Honor system • If the Leader is trained it benefits the scouts • Follow on training will consist of Roundtables, Self Paced and Web based.
