  2. I took a survey on 40 students in 8th grade to find out which eye color is the most popular; green, blue, brown, or hazel. • Then I went a little farther and divided those into two groups, boys and girls, to see which eye color is more common in boys and girls.

  3. Results • For brown eyes I got a total of 14. For the boys I got 9 and the girls 5. • For green eyes I got a total of 5. Boys-2 and girls-3 • For hazel eyes I got the same as green, which is 5. Boys-2 and girls-3 • Blue eyes was the most popular with 16 in total. 7 of them were boys, and the remaining 9 were girls. • So, I found that blue eyes are the most common eye color followed by brown. And that green and hazel are less common then blue or brown.

  4. Results for survey Number of students Eye Color

  5. Conclusion • As you can see, out of the four eye colors, blue is the most popular. And more girls than boys have blue eyes. • Brown is the second most popular with an overall total of 14. More boys than girls have brown eyes. • Green and hazel are tied. Both with a total of 5, and both being that more girls have green/hazel eyes than boys.
