Sign up! Speak out! Be heard! WHO WE ARE A statewide advocacy campaign sponsored by the Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (IARF). WHAT WE STAND FOR Greater access to disability and mental health services in the community for people and families. WHO WE STAND WITH Thousands of people and families across Illinois affected by community exclusion, as well as more than 85 community disability and mental health agencies and their workers. Our mission is to mobilize the public, engage with decision makers, and use the media to successfully promote greater access to community-based disability and mental health services for people and families.

ABOUT PUSH FOR ACCESS • DSC has signed on to organize a local group • DSC will continue its own advocacy efforts – Push for Access is a way we can take action together • Our goal is to recruit 1,000 advocates by October • We welcome the participation of as many people as possible • Joining is easy – sign up with your email address • Advocates will participate in local and statewide campaign activities and events throughout the year • Push for Access officially kicks off at IARF’s annual conference in October

WHAT YOU CAN DO Without the services that are provided to thousands of people and families in areas of employment, healthcare, housing, education and inclusion, these individuals will be left alone in their attempt to overcome barriers to some of their basic needs. By taking action together we can make a difference. • Pledge your support, sign up as a Push for Access advocate • Spread the word, sign up as many of your friends and family as possible
