  2. 666 in scripture • Goliath –height is 6 cubits, 6 pieces of armor, spear head weighed 600 shekels. (1 Sam 17:4-7) • Nebuchadnezzar’s image- 60 cubits high, 6 cubits broad, and worshiped with 6 instruments. (Dan 3:1-5) • Symbolic meaning • The first 6 is connected to the pride of fleshly might • Two sixes are connected to the pride of absolute dominion. • Three sixes are connected to the pride of Satanic guidance.

The Mark of the Beast • on the right hand or forehead • Given to those who accept Antichrist as god • It will serve as a passport for business • It permits one to work, buy or sell, and make a living • everyone has the same number • Could imply: • a cashless situation • a one-world money system • RFID chips

The interpretation of the number of the Mark of the Beast • Five clues • The name of the Beast (it’s the name of the antichrist/Seed of Satan/ascended out of the bottomless pit) • The number of his name (his name has a numerical value) • The number of the Beast (he is the antichrist) • The number of a man (he is human) • The number is 666 (numerical value)

  6. told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains (the Holy Spirit through the Church) will do so until He is taken out of the way.(the restraining efforts of the Holy Spirit) 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all

  7. power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. (1st 3 ½ years of Trib.) 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion,(at the 3 ½ year mark) that they should believe the lie, (that the Antichrist is god) 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (refused the Gospel, took the mark and worshipped antichrist) 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12

  8. How will Tribulation Saints calculate the number? The primary interpreters of the name will be Jewish believers, probably the 144,000, the Two witnesses and Elijah. Therefore the calculation is probably through Hebrew Gematria

  9. How will Tribulation Saints calculate the number? 3. The number of the Beast is to be used as a proof device instead of a discovery device, after he has been revealed by three prior identification markers. Some type of identification prior to the Tribulation. (2 Thess. 2:3) The signing of the Cov. of Death between Antichrist and Israel. (Dan. 9:27) The abomination of desolation (Dan 9:27, Matt. 24:15-25)
