  3. Teachers & Students • You will have a homeroom teacher, a math teacher, and a language arts teacher. Write these down with your schedule to keep in your binder.

  4. Classes • Core classes are considered: Math, language arts, science, and social studies • Encore classes are considered: Phys. Ed, Music, Art. • You will attend all the encore classes, on a rotating basis. You will be given your schedule. Write these times down.

  8. Safety • Surveillance cameras are in use in the hallways and on buses. • Teachers monitor the hallways during all class changes, as well as before and after school. • Report ANY bullying to the nearest adult. • Fighting is automatic Alternative School for ANY reasons.

Frequently Asked Questions… • School begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. Sixth Graders go to the courtyard if the weather permits before that time. • Lockers- $5 on sale during snack in the lunchroom. • Snack available each day for $0.50 or $0.75 each. • Lunch- sit with teacher and class. Keep lunch balance current. • Dismissal Procedures • Restroom Use Library use- Not part of daily schedule. Use as needed
