  2. The Task • Isaac’s mother Sarah has died. • Abraham, who is now old, is concerned about his son’s marital status. • Wanted to be sure a good choice is made. • An oath is required and some strict perimeters are set. • The trip is about five hundred miles.

  3. The Prayer • The one would come to him. • Be kindly and give him water. • Would offer to water his ten camels. (20 gallons each)

  4. The Answer • It is not wrong to put the fleece out before the Lord. • The servant knows no one, prayer is his only resource. • Be wise with your answer.

  5. Result • “I will go” • He loved her.
