  4. Biological Rhythms & Sleep • Circadian rhythm: internal bio clock; regular bodily rhythms (temp, wakefulness) that occur on a 24 hour cycle • Age & experience can alter it • “owls” to morning-loving “larks”

  5. Sleep Stages-every 90 min., cycle through 5 stages -EEG measures sleep act.
