  2. Mean • The average of the numbers in a set of data is the mean.

  3. The Report Card • David is trying to find the mean for his report card. His scores were: (76), (80), (79) and (100). Find the mean.

  4. Organized List Strategy • Make an organized list by adding all the numbers and divide by how many numbers are in your organized list.

  5. The Solution is 81 • Step 1. We added the numbers together and got 325. • Step 2. We divided By 4 because there are 4 numbers in the list.
