Objectives Structure of the Workshop Part I Share the lessons learned from past and current Caribbean initiatives in the definition, development and certification of labor competencies, including the inputs and exchange of experiences from Mexico, Brazil, Costa Rica, and Peru. Part II Facilitate initial training for the development of methodology for developing standards in the curriculum based on competencies.

All of the countries have valuable lessons to share Horizontal Cooperation augments the national systems capacity to reflect and learn from ourselves and the experience of others The genuine political will for sharing is as important as what is being shared itself.
