  2. Supporting Students through Student Services The Cambrian School District’s highest priority is keeping our students safe and secure while at school. This includes providing students with a nurturing environment that supports the whole child and includes counseling and behavioral support when necessary. We do this by providing a positive school climate, encouraging student engagement and supporting a healthy lifestyle.

Next Steps… • Continual focus on SWIS data entry to guide lessons and school wide areas of support • CPR training for all staff 2015-2016 • El Camino Hospital Grant for School Nurse (in process) • LCAP feedback indicates additional counseling needs at all sites • Update district bullying policy (Ed Code 234.1) • All students have a right to a safe school environment • School community is expected to report all incidences of bullying in a timely manner
