Discover the Vibrant World of Native Birds: Orioles and Hummingbirds

Explore the fascinating characteristics of two native birds: the Baltimore Oriole and the Ruby-throated Hummingbird. The Baltimore Oriole is known for its striking male plumage of black and orange, while females are more subdued in olive-brown. Their clear, flute-like calls are distinct and varied. In contrast, the Ruby-throated Hummingbird features majestic emerald-green backs and a ruby-red throat in males, with females resembling them in a subtler shade. Experience their unique vocalizations and the visual beauty they bring to our environment.
