  6. Off-Campus Study • Hope College students have access to over 200 off-campus study programs in over 60 countries. • Approximately 1/3 of a graduating class at Hope College studies off-campus for a semester or academic year

  10. “Current Trends in U.S. Study Abroad”–IIE, May 2009 • Approximately 1.3% of all students enrolled in U.S. higher education studied abroad for credit during the 2007-08 academic year (approximately 240,000 students).

Deloitte's International Assignment Services (IAS) - Fall 2006 Advertisement • Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of equivalent relevant work experience. • 2+ years of related business experience in international customer service and / or relocation. • Bilingual language skills a must (Spanish and English mandatory, German a plus). • Intermediate Microsoft Excel worksheet proficiency. • Prior expatriate experience a plus. • Basic math skills.

One Model: IES European Union Program • For Cultural Studies, Economics, International Business, International Relations, and Political Science majors • Focus: Development and activities of the EU • Courses focus on the historical and institutional development of the EU, its internal policies, issues of culture and multiculturalism, and EU relations with outside nations. • Visits to Council of Europe and European Parliament in Strasbourg, Court of Justice in Luxembourg, Commission and Council of the EU in Brussels, European Central Bank in Frankfurt, and offices of the OECD and World Bank in Paris • Meet with EU and government representatives of member states; leaders in multi-national corporations and NGOs; official advisors on EU issues; leading academics; and entrepreneurs • Internships available in Freiburg, Germany and Brussels, Belgium
