Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Note: The assembly procedure begins with the head. Attach a suitable lifting device to travel motor (6). The weight of travel motor (6) is approximately 61 kg (135 lb). 4. Carefully position travel motor (6) on Tooling (B). Slide travel motor (6) into position on the final drive. 5. Install bolt (8) in order to secure travel motor (6) to the final drive. 6. Remove Tooling (B) . 7. Install bolt (7). Install Tooling (A) into the bolt hole for cover (3) . 11. Use two people to position cover (3) on Tooling (A). The weight of cover (3) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Slide cover (3) into position on the machine. 12. Install bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2 ) to a torque of 130 ± 10 N·m (96 ± 7 lb ft). 13. Remove Tooling (A). Install bolt (1). Tighten bolt (1) to a torque of 130 ± 10 N·m (96 ± 7 lb ft). 14. Fill the final drive with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Final Drive Oil - Change". The weight of the final drive is 500 kg (1100 lb). 6. Remove plug (4). Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. 7. Drain the oil from the final drive into a suitable container for storage or disposal.
