The Centre for Community-Based Research (CCBR) celebrates 25 years of pioneering, research-inspired social innovation in Canada. Since 1892, we have led over 400 community-based research projects, leveraging collaborative partnerships founded on an entrepreneurial spirit. Our mission emphasizes the transformative power of knowledge to drive positive social change, fostering inclusive participation and innovative solutions. Currently, we are engaged in the Cancer Screening Spread Project, facilitating knowledge mobilization and relationship building to enhance cancer screening for underserved women across Ontario.

Our Role on The Cancer Screening Spread Project • CCBR is collaborating with Echo staff to facilitate an engagement process that: • Supports relationship formation and knowledge mobilization related to key learnings from the cancer screening demonstration projects • Uses critical reflection on innovative practice and the creation of a shared vision of system change to advance cancer screening capacity for women seldom or never screened across Ontario
