  6. Step #1: Have students register on certiport.com • Step #2: NC Timed Reviews (1-2 weeks) • Step #3: Practice logging into the test several times prior to taking the test. • Step #4: Test • Step #5: Review Again (1 day) • Step #6: Re-takes Process for Test Prep Students

  7. Gave 1st test – was not graded. • Used 2nd test as FinalExam for 1st Semester. • If students passed the exam on the first try they worked quietly on home work. • Grading Scale at .25 value(175 pts. possible): 630-700 = A 560-629 = B 490-559 = C 420-489 = D 0-419 = F Testing Structure

After IT does what they do… • Test several computers in each lab: • Can you get logged in? • Does it show the correct school/building? • Have you assigned groups? • Have students set-up their CertiPort Accounts.   10. Practice, Practice, Practice logging in! • Have the instructions in multiple places so students don’t need individual help to get logged in. • Have students help if they have already passed. • If testing during finals you have more time! How do you test in a 55 minute period?
