The Three Town’s Motor Project, managed by David Quinn, a 14-year initiative, provides legal access to vehicles for youth. Collaborating with James Watt College, the project offers Road Safety Package, MCMC group provisions, and pre-driver qualifications. With a flexible curriculum and SQA modules, it educates on tool care, vehicle basics, and road safety for both pre and post-16 groups. The MCMC Young Drivers Programme includes theory, driving tuition, forklift license, first aid certification, and job-seeking skills, culminating in SQA Safe Road User Awards. George McMillan, a project graduate, shares success, joined Army, volunteers at Ardrossan Youth Centre, and works with the Salvation Army. The project aims to empower youth for a brighter future.
