Terms of Reference • Compile a report that: • provides a stocktake of current or future proposed capabilities/resources in the area • identifies any new national or international opportunities/requirements in the area over the period 2006-15 • suggests strategies and the resourcing levels required to maximise these new opportunities. • Submit report to the NCA by April 30 2005 • Consult widely with all key stake holders (both national and international) in developing report

Proposed Timetable • 24/11/4 First teleconference • 17/12/4 1st Town Hall meeting @UNSW • Identify missing items in summary sheets • Prepare survey questions • 2,4/2/05 2nd Town Hall meeting @ANU • Discuss priorities for national facilities • Confirm choices of any new facilities • 8/3/05 Circulate first draft of report • 15/3/05 3rd Town Hall meeting @Melbourne • Detail funding requirements and strategies • 1/4/05 Circulate final draft of report • 29/4/05 Submit report
