  6. Let’s practice in your packet! Activity one: In groups, brainstorm for approximately 3 minutes. List all of the onomatopoeia words that you can. Don’t share lists with others! Do this quietly! Then, let’s see how many words your group has that the other does not. Activity two: Write 3 descriptive sentences that contain at least one example of onomatopoeia in each.

Directions for your onomatopoeia comic strip: • Use the six boxes to create a comic strip using onomatopoeia. • Make sure you have done the following, before you turn it in: • Write your name on it • Write the word onomatopoeia either at the top or down one of the sides. • Use lots of color • Use some dialogue • Have an onomatopoeia in at least FOUR of the six boxes. • Write a title for you comic strip • Number the boxes 1-6
