  2. Setting • The story takes place at her aunt Rachel's house. Around present day. On land. Her aunt has claw foot tubs, floor is cold. House is pretty old.

Characters • Lily- she is half mermaid and half human, she has blond hair and pal tan skin, she is cowardly and tactful • Quince- Lily's best human friend, she is over protective and pushy to lily to higher standerds,and she is also willing to take risks • Aunt rachel-Lilys moms sister, she has brown hair and she is very optimistic

  4. Plot: Conflict • Lily likes a boy and wants to tell him. But the fact that she is half mermaid and human, and about to become ruler of the ocean she dose not want to tell him. Also her friend Quince keeps pushing her to ask him but Lily keeps denying it.

  5. Plot: Resolution • She takes him to her kingdom and she decides to stay on land and stays with this boy.

  6. Your Opinion • The book was amazing all the drama of her , her friends and family was outstanding. I love that it was a fantasy mermaid book cause I just absolutely love mermaids. I cant wait to read the next book.
