  5. Emergency situations In Emergency situations, Social Media can be used by survivors to report on affected areas Pictures, blogs posts and videos are posted This is beneficial to Emergency services and civilians

  6. Charitable Organizations Charitable organisations also use Social Media to raise awareness. Through the use of wiki pages, social networks, blogs , etc, they can reach their target audiences. 87 % of Charities use some type of Social Media

  7. Businesses As well as non-profitable organizations, businesses use social media to expand and thrive. The use of Social Media provides companies to talk to their consumers and vice versa. Social Media also enables companies to provide their customers with information and details on products and the companies information.
