Questions • What are the top three critical functions of an IRB coordinator? • Why should or should not exempt determinations be a critical function of all IRB coordinators? • What are the processes that you as an IRB Coordinator or your IRB uses to facilitate effective functioning of the IRB Committee? • What are the process issues that you as an IRB Coordinator encounter that are impairing your ability to be effective in your role, and what solutions could be used to address those difficulties? • What are the regulatory issues that your IRB has difficulty implementing, and what solutions could be used to resolve those difficulties? • What would make it difficult for your IRB to serve as a multi-site IRB?
