HINARI • Health InterNetwork Access to Research Initiative is an initiative of UN’s WHO with publishers. • Provides free access to over 3,280 biomedical and related social sciences journals and other resources for health sector & academic institutions in 120 developing countries. • http://www.healthinternetwork.org

AGORA • Access to Global Online Research in Agriculture is an initiative of UN’s FAO together with publishers. • Free access to more than 849 major scientific journals in the fields of food, agriculture, and other related biological, environmental and social sciences for public academic institutions in developing countries. • http://www.aginternetwork.org

Blackwell • We have full access rights to most journals. • Subjects covered include: business, economics, finance, & accounting; engineering, computing & technology; mathematics & statistics; humanities; veterinary medicine, animal sciences. Gale (Thomson Learning) • Comprises two databases namely: • Expanded Academic ASAP • General research database that covers all disciplines i.e. arts, humanities, social sciences, education, science and technology. Walter de Gruyter electronic Journals. • 67 journal titles in among others: Natural Sciences, Medicine, Social Sciences, Law, Mathematics, History, Linguistics & Communication, Literary Studies etc. • Here we have access to full-text articles of most Walter de Gruyter journals mainly in PDF going back to the 1990s. • Provides direct links to references for STM (science-technical-medical) titles via CrossRef. • http://www.extenza-eps.com/

The Cochrane Library. • This is a collection of 7 (seven) high class evidence based Medicine databases enabling clinicians to make informed decisions about health care. • Covers all branches of medicine and health care, especially evidence based medicine. Royal Society of London • Seven leading international peer reviewed journals from the UK’s national academy covering the whole of the biological and physical sciences. • References contain active references linking to cited content. • Earlier issues of all the journals (from 2001 to mid 2005) are freely available to us (all articles). • Some articles in the more recent issues are also available. * The issues containing such articles are usually written in bold.
