Note: Each unit requires a separate license. A separate license is also required for the corporate office . Less than Rs. 12 lakhs, milk collection upto 500L/day More than Rs. 12 lakhs Turn over per year Need a license Need to register Central License State License Milk - 500L to 50000L per day Oil – upto 2MT/day, Meat – upto 500kg/day to 150MT per annum, Food processing- upto 100kg or 2MT/day, Storage- upto 50000MT capacity, wholesaler-turnover upto 30crores/year, retailers, distributors, resturants, suppliers, food ingredients, marketer, caterers-upto 20crores/year. Hotel-upto 4star, transporters-upto 100vehicles or 30 crores/year, Milk – more than 50000L per day or 2500 MT per year, Oil – more than 2MT/day , Meat – more than 500kg/day to 150MT per annum, Food processing- 2MT/day, all 100% export oriented units, importers, having units in 2 or more states and Storage- more than 50000MT capacity, wholesaler-turnover more than 30crores/year, retailers, distributors, restaurants, suppliers, food ingredients, marketer, caterers-more than 20crores/year. Hotel-upto 5 star and above, transporters-more than 100 vehicles or 30 crores/year, Central government agencies. Manufacturing units in more than one state. Fill in the form B and send all the documents required to the nearest designated officer or apply on-line using the FSSAI link: http://foodlicensing.fssai.gov.in/UserLogin/Login.aspx Apply on-line using the link: http://foodlicensing.fssai.gov.in/UserLogin/Login.aspx Take a print out and submit at the application with required documents at the Central licensing designated officer of your region within 15 days of applying on-line.
