Novel Anti-ShcC Antibody for Specific Detection in KU-YS Cells

This study introduces a new anti-ShcC antibody, ahShcC, with no cross-reactivity to human ShcA. The antibody's specificity against human ShcC was tested in KU-YS cells lacking endogenous ShcC expression by examining western blot results using Flag-tagged ShcA or ShcC.

  1. Suppl. A Vec ShcA ShcC KU-YS cells WB: a FLAG ahShcA ahShcC a-tubulin Specific antibody against human ShcC protein. We raised a new anti-ShcC antibody against human ShcC : ahShcC, which shows no cross reactivity with human ShcA. To evaluate its specificity against human ShcC, either Flag-tagged ShcA or ShcC was expressed in KU-YS cells which is known to have no endogenous expression of ShcC. Results of western blot analysis using indicated antibodies are shown.
