NLMS Access to National Content • NLMSis the vehicle for access to all NHS CFH e-learning for ESR based staff • Current e-learning (e.g. BT RA modules) being re-purposed to operate NLMS • NHS Elite, NHS Health and AIDC (Bar Coding) already on the NLMS catalogue • NHS CFH directorates will also utilise the NLMS e.g. Information Governance • Establishing ‘on the ground’ support for NHS CFH trainers and leads via placing Implementation Consultants into each SHA • IC’s to align with SHA e-learning leads and ESR Account Managers • Target availability September 2009 NLMS

  5. Clix Access to National Content • CLIXis the vehicle for access to NHS CFH e-learning for non ESR staff • CFH resources working with the e-LfH team to ‘configure’ the NHS CFH view • Plans to enable consolidated reporting across NLMS/CLIX databases • Target availability September 2009 NLMS

  6. E-Learning Readiness Jointly sponsored by eLfH and CFH Available to all NHS Led by Schemeta following procurement involving SHA leads Target Availability July 2009 Toolset of guidance and resources with Web access

E-Learning Development Resources • Targeted to drive up the us of ‘e’ and blended learning within CFH directorates and projects • End point is to have proven ‘service’ based processes in place to facilitate content development via external suppliers • Currently building and trialling via 3 Proof of Concept projects: • Data Dictionary • Choose and Book • Snomed • Target availability August 2009 (POC projects over next 3mths)

Local Content Catalogue • Intention to identify and catalogue material within SHA’s and Trusts • NHS CFH products are a priority but includes all types as a support mechanism to NLMS • Will work closely with the NHS Repository (analyst connected to Bertha) • Currently being scoped via finalisation of a PID • Will latch previous work and experience via SHA’s (e.g. Mike Farrell) • Target availability August 2009

  9. E-Learning Developer Resources • A range of support tools and mechanisms for producing local IT e-learning • Will ensure consistent, effective and compliant (to NLMS/CLIX) material • Will integrate with the CFH e-learning development service • Hooked up with the similar SHA initiative (Jonathan Brown/Nick Moseley) • Commences on approval of 2009/10 budgets
