  2. How are air masses and fronts formed An air mass can be describe as the air similar properties of temperature and moisture which covers a large area.

  3. Air Masses A body of air covering a relatively wide area exhibiting approximately uniform properties through any horizontal section.

  4. fronts In meteorology, zone of transition between adjacent air masses.

  5. Where air masses and fronts take place Air masses form over parts of the earths surface called regions.

  6. Gulf stream Gulf stream, warm ocean current of the Atlantic ocean, off E North America.

  7. Jet stream Jet stream, narrow, swift currents or tubes of air found at heights ranging from 7 to 8 mil above the surface of the earth.
