RESPONSIBILITIES- Analog and Digital circuit design responsibilities for both New Product Development and ``same-as-except`` products- Compliance of designs to EMC and industry safety standards.- Product testing and validation- Complete design documentation - Project management responsibility for electrical design activities including timeline, resources, costing, and execution.- Debugging and troubleshooting of designs- Comprehensive documentation responsibility for all electrical designs inc- A BSc or MSc degree in Engineering or similar - Proven track record in and passion for analog and digital circuit design for commercial/industrial products. - Strong problem solving skills and creativity- Software / micro-processor programming skills such as C/C++/Assembler are an advantage.- Self-managed, creative, innovative and enthusiastic- Effective written and verbal communication skills - The ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to a range of stakeholders including those who are not from a technical background- Potential leadership skills- Appreciation of or understanding of project management - Effective inter-personal skills - Ability to work cross-functionallyMy client is a leading manufacturer of level switch products, pressure switches, pressure transducers, flow switches, miniature solenoid valves, proximity switches and liquid level control units for use in a broad range of fluids across industry. They are based in the Thames Valley. An electronics engineer is required with a proven track record in the specification, design, development, and validation of electrical, mechanical, or electro-mechanical sensors, sensor systems, fluidic systems for industrial markets. The postholder will be required to work with a cross-functional team to design and develop electronic pressure sensors for pneumatic and hydraulic applications using highly advanced strain gauge technologies. This engineer will participate in engineering research, design, development and continuous product improvement in a medium volume manufacturing environment.
