Instructional Goals • Reading Goal: --- Spend more time on oral conversations to improve the vocabulary and pronunciation. --- Allow him to talk and explain in more detail the stories to make him feel comfortable. • Writing Goal: --- Write short sentences with unfamiliar words. --- Write the key words of the story.

  6. Recommendations • Eduardo retells the main idea of the story very well. He can dictate the events. • Introduce new vocabulary for fluency • Eduardo need more practice in writing words he already knows how to read. • Writing activity with art motivates him to learn faster. Such, drawing, coloring, and using markers.

Summary • Eduardo has improved from a shy student who couldn’t keep eye contact, to a student who can’t wait to learn and do an activity. • His reading speed has increased and hardly makes mistakes unless is a word with ed ending. • Eduardo is the kind of person: who asks if he doesn’t know the word, who looks at the picture to figure out the word he is having problems with, and he decodes the unfamiliar words.
