  3. 1929 • Martin Luther King Jr. was born in January 15, 1929. • His parents are Mr. and Mrs. King • He lived in Atlanta, Georgia • His real name is Michael Luther King • He was born on a noon • He enjoyed the church his dad preached at • His family and friends called him M.L

  4. 1937 • M.L loved sports • Some of his friends were white • There was a new law that stated M.L couldn’t play with his white friends

  5. 1944 • He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and he was admitted to Morehouse Collage at age 15

  6. 1951 • He entered Boston University for graduated studies

  7. 1953 • He got married to Coretta Scott and settled in Montgomery, Alabama.

  8. 1955 • He received Doctorate of philosophy an systematic Theology from Boston Massachusetts on June 5, 1955

  9. 1957 • On May 17, 1957 Dr. King spoke to a crowd over 15,000 people in Washington DC

  10. 1963 • M.L got elected man of the year for a magazine

  11. 1968 • M.L died at 39 in a hotel on April 4, 1968 By a hidden sniper man • His grave said “ Free at last, Free at last, Thank God all Mighty, I’m Free at last
