Five employees in the “Happiest Place on Earth” were recently diagnosed with measles, an infectious disease considered eliminated in the United States in 2000 due to widespread vaccination. How specifically Disneyland became the “ground zero” for the outbreak is up for debate, but the most likely theory is unvaccinated foreign visitors. Fortunately for those workers, their treatment will be covered by workers compensation in California as it would be covered by workers compensation in Colorado.
