  4. Users Change • Partner with staff—hard times change patterns of use—ask staff to observe • Let the staff experiment with different solutions of their own • Discuss progress, trends and listen

  5. Attitudes, Reactions • How the Director reacts to successes and short falls is key—Offer to help with problems • If you spend time fixing the problem instead of the blame, you won’t have the problem • Help out—work Saturdays, work backup when busy
