  2. Of 1stimportance 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 For what I received I passed on to you as of FIRST IMPORTANCE: that Christ DIED for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was BURIED, that he was RAISED on the third day according to the Scriptures.

  3. Acts 4:33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the RESURRECTION of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all.

  4. 1. Jesus is God Romans 1:4 ...and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the SON OF GOD in power by his RESURRECTION from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.

  5. 2. The devil is defeated Hebrews 2:14-15 Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity SO THAT BY HIS DEATH he might DESTROY HIM WHO HOLDS THE POWER OF DEATH-- THAT IS, THE DEVIL—15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

  7. 4. We can live forever 2 Timothy 1:9-10 This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, 10 but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Saviour, Christ Jesus, who has DESTROYED DEATH and has brought LIFE and IMMORTALITY to light through the gospel.

  8. 5. The Holy Spirit has been poured out Acts 2:32-33 God has RAISED this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact. 33 EXALTED to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised HOLY SPIRIT and has POURED OUT what you now see and hear.

  9. 6. Miracles are possible John 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will DO WHAT I HAVE BEEN DOING. He will DO EVEN GREATER THINGS THAN THESE, because I am GOING TO THE FATHER.

  10. 7. Jesus is coming back Acts 17:31 For he has set a day when he will JUDGE THE WORLD with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given PROOF of this to all men by RAISING HIM FROM THE DEAD.

  11. John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE. The one who BELIEVES in me will LIVE, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will NEVER DIE. Do you believe this?”

  12. The resurrection of Jesus opens the way for us to be saved!
