The Directory had to deal with the food shortages. • They had to deal with the fact of people dying from the food shortage and them dying from it. • The people of the town were making grievances, making different type of petitions and the people made strong statements against the Directory. • They had shortages with different house hold items like firewood and candles. • The directory had problems with the prices of different things risings. • The political activity was taking a fall. • The Directory seemed to give the people the chance to make the revolution happen. The Problems they had to face.
