  4. Department of Educational Leadership Mission • To prepare critically reflective educators who are instructional leaders; to create and share knowledge that leads to improved practice and policy; and to connect with the field to support and nourish social justice, learning, and accountability.

Master’s in Leadership Studies • 30-hour program • Leadership within educational service organizations • Students identify a concentration that meets learning and career goals • Offered for individuals who wish to study leadership in educational settings but do not wish to seek a position as a school administrator

  6. Endorsement Programs: M.Ed., Administration and Supervision; Post Master’s Certificate in Educational Leadership • Master’s: 33 credit hours • Post Master’s: 21 credit hours

  7. Both Endorsement Programs include these unique features: • Blended delivery format • Embedded, module-based curriculum • Problem based, immersive • Focus on communication

  8. Course Embedded Activities • Internship Degree/Certificate AND Endorsement in Administration/Supervision (passing SLLA score)

  9. Complete Application • Schedule GRE or MAT exam • Obtain official transcripts • Secure three professional references • Get copy of teaching license for M.Ed. in Admin/Sup or PMC programs + 2 yrs experience • Complete statement of purpose • Provide resume Questions about the application?   12. What’s the schedule for classes? • Fall, Spring, Summer semesters • Fall begins third week of August and runs through mid-December • Spring starts the third week of January and runs through mid-May • Summer begins late May and runs through early August
