  2. Key Issues - Positive Regulatory Environment - IBRD - Work with GOC – a new legal framework for higher education. - All HEI’s - Public & Private – subject to new accreditation compliance. - Timing - Private investment would help IBRD & GOC reinforce meaning of framework.

Key Issues (cont.) • Need for consistency - growth and development of HEI’s • Similar framework to elsewhere • Need for broader multi-disciplinary education • Cohesive action - both public and private sector • Second largest university private - need for a positive model and participation • Sponsor - responsive - keen to learn

  4. P / P Co-operation will – • Level the playing field – public and private • Foster healthy competition • Provide ‘choice’ for parents and students • Public / Private action – sends stronger signal to GOC about the reforms • Complement GOC strategies for higher education reforms.
