  2. Verbal – Linguistic Intelligence • Well developed verbal skills are characteristic of this intelligence. These students are also very good with sounds, meanings and rhythms of words. Activities to use: • Writers Workshop • Journals • Storytelling • Poetry • Class Discussions • Creative Writing • Debating

  3. Mathematical – Logical Intelligence • It is characteristic of this intelligence to be able to think abstractly and deal with logical and numerical patterns. Activities to use: • Puzzles • Measuring • Venn Diagrams • Scientific Experiments • Surveys • Sequencing • Classifying • Computers

  4. Musical Intelligence • Ability to produce and appreciate rhythm, pitch, and timber. Activities to use: • Making instruments • Playing instruments • Writing lyrics • Musical games • Rhythm Patterns • Time Period Music • Cultural Music

  5. Visual – Spatial Intelligence • These students can think in images and pictures, they view accurately and abstractly. Activities to use: • Film Making • Map Making • Cartoons • Graphs • Collages • Designing Posters • Murals • Sculpting, Painting, and Drawing

  6. Bodily – Kinesthetic Intelligence • These students are able to handle objects with skills and control their body movements. Activities to use: • Scavenger Hunts • Building • Simulations • Action Stories • Sports • Performing, acting out • Manipulative • Dancing

  7. Interpersonal Intelligence • Responds well to others moods, attitudes, motivations, and desires. Can detect the moods, motivations, and attitudes of others. Activities to use: • Interviewing • Class Discussion • Problem Solving • Jigsawing Information • Sharing • Cooperative Activities • Teaching Others • Group Story Writing

  8. Intrapersonal Intelligence • In tune with inner values, beliefs, feelings, and thinking process. Very self- aware students. Activities to use: • Journals • Self Reflection • Coats of Arms • Setting Goals • Likes / Dislikes • Family Trees • Personal Timelines • Autobiographies • Independent Projects
