  2. General Responsibilities • Mangers handle the administrative duties for the team allowing the coach and trainer to prepare the players for competition. This includes securing practice fields, handling game reschedules, registering for tournaments and having game day items (passes and rosters) on hand at each game. • Coaches are asked to communicate directly to the families on team development, expectations, and progress, while managers are the communications liaison between the parents, club administrators, scheduling entities and tournament directors for all other topics.   • A successful and enjoyable season requires a strong partnership between the manager and coach  along with good planning.  Assertiveness • Teamwork • Leadership • Respect

  6. Twin Cities Soccer League (TCSL) • The TCSL website has useful tools and tips for managers • Visit TCSLSoccer.com>Process • Under the process tab there are several different headings. Managers will find the GotSoccer tab and the Team Manager tab most useful • The GotSoccer tab includes instructions for adding guest players (also referred to as Club Pass players) to rosters and also instructions for printing game day rosters • The Team Managers tab has detailed instructions regarding Game Day procedures and game reschedules Passes are required for all adults, players and guest players at each league and tournament game. • Passes will be e-mailed to each manager in a PDF file. Systems You Will Use • GotSoccer – www.gotsoccer.com • League Game Schedules • Game Day Rosters • KYCK – www.play.kyck.com • Player Passes • All adults and players on the team sideline are required to have a pass. Passes will be presented to the referee prior to each league and tournament game. Background checks are required for all adults and birth certificates are required for all players. Game Reschedule AWAY GAMES: • Click on the blue “Chat” button on the game schedule in GotSoccer to contact the opposing team with proposed dates for the reschedule • Once a date and time are determined, it is the opposing team’s responsibility to secure a field and refs for the game • Home team should complete the reschedule form and submit to TCSL HOME GAMES: • Click on the blue “Chat” button on the game schedule in GotSoccer to contact the opposing team with proposed dates for the reschedule • As the home team, you will need to fill out this form to secure a field and refs. DO NOT use Book-a-field to reschedule games. Once a field and refs are secured, complete the TCSL reschedule form and submit. Assertiveness • Teamwork • Leadership • Respect

  11. KYCK • www.play.kyck.com • KYCK is the system used by US Club Soccer (and TCSL) to generate adult and player passes. • Managers will need to update all player photos in this system. To update a photo, simply click Edit next to the player’s name, click Choose File by the photo box and upload the photo. • Each adult must upload their own picture. Practice Schedules • Practice schedules are set by each team and every coach will have a different request. • Process • Update TeamSnapwith the dates, times and locations of each practice. • Be sure to reserve space on the correct field size for your team. Tournament Registration • Most coaches will ask that the manager handle all tournament registrations. • Many coaches will have a list of tournament they are interested in but if not, a list of local tournaments can be found on The Tournament Center (thetournamentcenter.com) • The tournament host club will have information regarding dates, cost and registration on their website • Most tournaments will require passes for all adults, players and guest players in addition to medical release forms for all players and guest players.
